Blogging Resources: Courses, Plugins and Must-Haves

I have put together some of blogging resources I use including the best courses and tips to help you on your blogging journey, whatever subject you blog about.

Blogging Courses to help your blog better!

Nomadic Matt’s Superstar Blogging Course

Nomadic Matt has been in the travel blogging business for over 10 years. His courses offer How to be a Travel Writer and the Business of Travel Blogging.

He also runs a photography course with Noah….

Both courses have Facebook groups.

The Blogger Course

Monica Stott of The Travel Hack runs The Blogger Course.

Broken down into easily manageable sections, the course takes you through all aspects of setting up and running your blog. The course is in written and audio form.

Monica also runs an active and supportive Facebook group and occasionally organises trips and intensive courses.

Make Traffic Happen

The Queen’s of SEO, Gemma and Laura of Make Traffic Happen offer courses in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Reviving Old Content and Site Speed.

There is also an active and supportive Facebook group.

YouTube Training

Greg Snell’s Introduction to YouTube for Creators

If you want to break into creating videos for YouTube as part of your blogging arsenal, I recommend Greg Snell’s Introduction to YouTube for Creators. From learning about the Holy Trinity to SEO for YouTube and Audience Engagement it is a great way to start your YouTube journey.

Blogging WordPress Plugins to make blogging easier

Thirsty Affiliates

If you use affiliates to monetise your website, Thirsty Affiliates makes is so much easier to update them.

Instead of trawling through your site to update every single link, just go to Thirsty Affiliates on your dashboard and update the link and it takes care of it for you.

Tools for your Social Media Success

Tailwind

Tailwind lets you schedule your Pinterest pins and Instagram. I personally only use it for Pinterest. I schedule all my automatic pins for the week ahead at the weekend and Tailwind drops them in for me.

Also, the Tailwind Tribes is a useful tool connecting with others in your niche to share pins.
