Arriving in the early hours of the morning, is not the usual way I want to appreciate a luxury hotel. However once I stepped inside the quiet elegance of The Clermont London Victoria, I immediately forgot all my travel woes.
Nestled beside the iconic Victoria Station, this four-star hotel offers an indulgent escape for travellers seeking a blend of heritage, sophistication, all within easy reach of the city’s best attractions.

Next to the bed is a retro turquoise telephone and, crucially in this day and age, USB ports.

Along with the Nespresso® coffee machine in the room, there is a selection of teas, and a fridge with soft drinks, beer, wine …. and a bar of chocolate! Also there are two jars of retro sweets, biscuits, popcorn and crisps to enjoy.

Depending on the room, the en-suite will have a bath with overhead shower or a rainfall shower. Indulge yourself with the premium toiletries before slipping on cosy bathrobe and slippers.

If you are mixing business with leisure, a bit of bleisuring, the high-speed Wi-Fi and the well-lit desk is perfect for catching up on work or just checking our emails.

Catch up on the news, shows or films on the Smart TVs in every room. The plush armchair and sofa are comfortable to sit and watch TV, read or chat.

The Réunion Bar used to the the first class lounge for the Brighton Belle train. The intimate bar is perfect for a glass or two of Champagne or enjoy a signature cocktail or indulge in one from the Absinthe Express. You can also order some small plates and dim sum.

Highlights from My Stay
From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel’s quiet sophistication and the warmth of the staff. My Executive Room was both comfortable and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten welcome note and complimentary water.

I was delighted to see the retro sweets and finding chocolate in the fridge, when I was tired and needed something, was fabulous.
After a relaxing bubble bath, I fell into bed exhausted and slept so well.
In the morning, I managed to get some work done at the desk, and the fast wifi made it quick and easy.
I loved having breakfast in the airy dining space each morning and finishing the day with a drink in the stylish bar. Location-wise, I couldn’t have asked for better access to London’s highlights. Everything was within reach, yet the hotel provided a calm haven from the city’s bustle.
